The Novice Rep Eagles are on a great winning streak. They extended it again this weekend, vanquishing the Prince Edward County Kings 5-0 on the big ice in Wellington. They played great as a team, with everyone giving their best the whole game. The boys kept the puck in PEC's end almost the whole game, putting five pucks behind the King's goalie. You know what they say, offence is the best defence, the can't score when you have the puck. Great game, boys! Keep it up!

The Novice Rep Healey's Window Cleaning Eagles had a very successful three days (Dec 1, Dec 2 and Dec 3), earning all of the possible six points this weekend. They earned an important 4-2 win against the Stirling Blues in Stirling Friday night. The Eagles overpowered a big and fast Blues team, with goalie Cohan Bell playing amazing! They then faced the Douro Dukes in Warsaw, this time winning 6-4. They had amazing first and second periods, dominating the play. They held on, with the Dukes scoring two goals late in the game. They then faced the Tweed Hawks at home, winning 10-3 this time around. It was a phenomenal team effort, passing the puck and working as a team. The Novice Rep Eagles are now third in regular season play. Keep up the effort and teamwork, guys!

The Novice Rep Healey's Window Cleaning Eagles have had a great weekend at the Northumberland Regional Silver Stick tournament. They lost a tough game to the Frontenac Flyers on Friday, a 2-0 game where neither team played their best. They played the juggernaut Campellford Colts this morning (Saturday), and pushed them to a tie. They were up 3-2 with 2.7 seconds left, but the Colts scored a power-play goal to tie it up. The Novice Reps then played the Ayr Flames, coming into the game as the underdogs, but left with an 8-0 victory. They played a great game as a team and goalie Cohan Bell earned a shutout, closing it out with a monster save at the end of the game. Great job, boys. Go get those Vaughan Rangers in the semi's!

The Novice Rep Healey's Window Cleaning Eagles struck gold in Brighton! They faced the Wasaga Beach Stars in the first game, but suffered a loss. They hung on tight in the semifinals against the Newcastle Stars. They scored early in the first period, and then just held tight, with the defence playing AMAZING, helping Cohan Bell earn a shutout. They got a second chance against Wasaga in the finals, and the team executed their game plan flawlessly. The defence again was amazing, and the offence was more of a force than the semi, finding the back of the net four times. Cohan Bell earned his second consecutive shutout, leading the team to a tournament win, a first for many of the players. FANTASTIC effort, boys!
