U10 Rep Hockey is Here!, News (Ennismore Minor Hockey)

What Does This Mean?

This means that for the upcoming season, EMHA will be operating the following teams for this age group:

• U10 Rep Team (single birth year)
• U11 Rep Team (single birth year)
• 2 U11 Local League Teams (combined birth years, same as always)

Similar to other larger centers, our rep teams for this age group will now operate as single birth year teams. There will not be any second entry teams for U10 or U11. Our local league teams will continue to operate as combined birth year teams, just as they always have.

Who and Where Will You Play?

These rep teams will remain in our current loop, the Vic-Durham Hockey League. There are 6-7 other centers within the Vic-Durham League that will also be hosting U10 rep teams this coming season, meaning our players will continue to compete against familiar opponents in the same league they know. U11B teams will also remain in this loop, playing against other U11B teams.

Important Information for Tryouts

This will be a single age year rep team, meaning the team is designated for players registered in the U10 age group for the 2026/2027 hockey season.

As per the EMHA tryout policies, any player who is considered U10 for the 2026/2027 season (Born in 2017) wishing to try out for the U11 rep team must submit a written request to the EMHA Executive by April 15th before tryouts for consideration.
