Empowering Tomorrow’s Coaches – Today
The Ennismore Minor Hockey Association is proud to introduce the Mentorship Program, designed to inspire and develop the next generation of coaches within our hockey community.
This program offers players U16 and above a valuable opportunity to explore coaching in a supportive, hands-on environment. Participants will work alongside certified coaches, gaining real experience while building leadership, communication, and teaching skills.
By investing in our young athletes today, we are helping to ensure the continued strength and success of our association for years to come.
Program Goals

Inspire young athletes to stay involved in hockey beyond their playing years

Provide guided, on-ice coaching experience

Develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

Strengthen EMHA programs with motivated and relatable mentors
Eligibility
-
Open to current EMHA participants U16 and above for the 2025–2026 season

Must be in good standing with the association

Must show an interest in learning and contributing to team development

Must attend a minimum number of practices and/or games

A minimum two-year age gap is required between the mentor and the team they assist

Selected candidates will be interviewed by the coaching staff

Parental consent is required for applicants under 18
Volunteer hours will be provided.
