Ennismore will be hosting an OMHA Development 1 Coaching Clinic on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
THE *COACH - DEVELOPMENT 1 CLINIC IS FOR COACHES WHO DO NOT HAVE THE QUALIFICATION. IF YOU HAVE THE *COACH - DEVELOPMENT 1 TRAINED QUALIFICATION OR NOT-RENEWED STATUS, THIS CLINIC IS NOT FOR YOU.
THIS *COACH - DEVELOPMENT 1 CLINIC WILL BE DELIVERED OVER A ONE DAY IN-PERSON CLINIC.
ATTENDANCE AND COMPLETION OF THIS SESSION IS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE QUALIFICATION.
CLINIC DELIVERY IS AS FOLLOWS:
1) In-Person Development 1 Clinic
This one day In-person *Coach - Development 1 clinic will be held on SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2025, ENNISMORE - ENNISMORE COMMUNITY CENTRE. 100% attendance is required in order to receive the Qualification.
Please note that registration closes the Thursday night prior to the clinic date.
The Specialty Skills - *HU - ONLINE Checking or Hockey Canada Skills - Checking online course and Hockey Canada Coaching Program - Development 1 online course MUST be completed before Signing Up for This *Coach – Development 1 clinic.
Failure to complete the *HU - ONLINE Checking or Hockey Canada Skills - Checking online course and Hockey Canada Coaching Program - Development 1 online course prior will NOT allow you to register for this *Coach – Development 1 clinic.
Note: If you have previously completed the *HU – ONLINE Checking course you are Not required to take the Hockey Canada Skills - Checking course.
Coaches will receive the *Coach – Development 1 digital Reference Material in their Confirmation email.
Please bring Pen and Paper for the In-class session.
Skates, CSA Approved Helmet, Gloves, Stick and Rink Suit are required for On-ice session.
Once the In-Person clinic is completed you will receive your Development 1 – Trained qualification. It may take 24 hours for the qualification to show on your HCR profile.
A $25 Admin Fee may be charged for any cancellation or change of clinic date.
Please note that in order to be on an Approved Roster as a Head Coach you must be 19 years of age or older.
