This week EMHA is highlighting the Optimist Club as our Sponsor of the Week!
The Optimist club is a trusted sponsor to our minor hockey organization. This year they have generously sponsored our U8LL Gold team.
"A youth and community service club whose motto is "Friend of Youth" which organizes youth sports, sports facilities, safety, educational and social activities and community volunteer services. Also sponsors public speaking contest for school children age 15 and under.
Our Optimist Club is composed of dynamic, motivated individuals who use their life skills to benefit their community’s needs, especially the needs of our youth. As creative people, we constantly seek innovative ways to help our neighbors. Our club enjoys autonomy, elects its Board of Directors and therefore has the opportunity to take the necessary decisions concerning arising issues. This authority also allows us to create and implement programs specific to the needs of youth in our community. We are then able to organize fundraisers that will help the community’s youth."
