Peterborough Patriots Invite TLC Plumbing U16's to try Sledge Hockey!
This weekend the Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing U16 Team accepted the challenge from The Peterborough Patriots to come out and try sledge hockey and play them in a fun scrimmage!
It was such a great opportunity for our U16's to experience the sport they love from a different point of view this weekend. It was not only fun, but the team quickly learned just how difficult and how much skill is involved in sledge hockey!
The purpose of the Peterborough Patriots Sports Club is to plan, promote, and coordinate events and activities to stimulate the further development of sports programs for physically disabled teens and adults alike.
The Patriots are actively seeking teams to learn how to play sledge hockey and play against them. They also supply all of the sleds that are needed. Next up, the Bridgenorth Dental U15D team have accepted their challenge and will be facing off against the Patriots in a game of Sledge Hockey during Polar Fest on Feb 2 in Ennismore!
Thank you Peterborough Patriots for this amazing opportunity and all of the laughs!
