Hockey Weekend in Ennismore 2025: A Community Celebration on and off the Ice
Hockey Weekend in Ennismore 2025 brought our community together for an unforgettable celebration of local spirit, teamwork, and tradition. The arena was buzzing from the moment the Opening Ceremonies kicked off the weekend, setting the tone for three full days of energy and excitement.

As EMHA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the event helps support new iPads for scorekeeping, ice rentals, equipment, and other essential needs.

Along with a full schedule of home games for our Ennismore teams, everyone enjoyed a wide range of activities throughout the weekend. The raffle tables were overflowing with prizes thanks to the generous donations from our EMHA teams, and our weekend-long 50/50 draw and Chuck-a-Puck kept the momentum going.

The on-ice events were a major highlight, featuring a fast-paced Skills Competition with the Juvies and a memorable Sledge Hockey game with the Peterborough Patriots.

This weekend would not have been possible without the support and dedication of so many. We extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire Hockey Weekend in Ennismore Committee for their hard work planning and organizing every detail. We also gratefully acknowledge Nash Sports for serving as our main HWIE sponsor this year.

A sincere thank you goes out to all EMHA teams for their raffle prize donations, and to the many team volunteers who helped sell 50/50 and raffle tickets. We would also like to thank the volunteers who ran the Peameal on a Bun BBQ, as well as those who have continued to support the BBQ year after year. Special appreciation goes to Flannigan’s Butcher Shop for donating the peameal, along with Ennismore Foodland and John’s Independent Grocers for their ongoing support.

We would also like to recognize Wes Evans Painting for donating the signed prints that helped make our raffle even more successful.

Hockey Weekend in Ennismore 2025 was a true celebration of community, and we cannot wait to make next year even better.
