AGM Info - May 7th 2025
EMHA families,

It is that time of year again!The Ennismore Minor Hockey Association Town Hall and  Annual General Meeting will be held Wednesday May 7th, 2025 at 6:00PM upstairs at the Ennismore arena. The Town Hall will commence at 6:00 p.m.  A detailed agenda for the Town Hall meeting will be posted at a later date.

All members are encouraged to attend both the Town Hall and AGM to learn more about changes this coming season, exercise your membership right to vote on important items (Board member elections, etc), and how to become involved in volunteer opportunities with EMHA.


NEW THIS YEAR - We are encouraging that nominations for Executive positions be submitted online prior to May 4th. A link for nominations (along with the nomination process) is posted below. Nominations will be received by the EMHA Secretary and Vice President. If you have any questions regarding any posted position or the nomination process, please contact Jaclyn Finney, Secretary of EMHA at [email protected].

 

Also new this year, EMHA has streamlined our process for making recommendations to our Constitution (available to read online under Constitution & Policies tab).

 

Any recommended changes must be made in writing to the Secretary no later than 21 days prior to the AGM. If you are interested in submitting, please complete the form, linked below, before midnight of April 16, 2025. All form submissions will be received by the Secretary and Vice President of EMHA.


Agenda for AGM of May 7, 2025 AGM will be as follows:

  2. Reading of minutes of last Annual General Meeting
  3. President's Remarks
  4. Correspondence - reading of same
  5. Executive Reports
  6. Amendments to Constitution and By-laws
  7. Notion of Motion
  8. General Business (per pas year)
  9. New Business - Arising from General Business
  10. Election of Officers 
  11. New President's Remarks (if applicable)
  12. New Business – Arising from election of officers for new year
  13. Adjournment 

The Following Positions Are Up for Re-Election for 2025/2026 (2 year terms):

  • President
  • Director of Coaching
  • OMHA Representative/Ice Scheduler
  • Initiation Program Director (IP)
  • Registrar

 

Motions: Constitutional Changes - Submit this form to make constitution amendment requests no later than 21 days prior to the AGM


Nomination Form: Board Member Positions - Submit nominations for board positions no later than Sunday May 4, 2025.
