
Townhall, Awards & AGM - May 10, 2022

Reminder of our Townhall, Award Presentations and AGM on May 10th from 6-8pm at the Arena.
Topics to be discussed at the Townhall from 6-7pm include:
- Elimination of AE hockey within the OMHA and how 2nd entry teams will be determined
- Elimination of Gate Fees for all OMHA sanctioned events and how this will affect how we pay refs
- Updates on Referees, where we are at and what you can do to help
- Registration – 2021-2022 Representative fees, what the money was for and will it continue
- Registration for 2022-2023 - Costs, residential complaint registration June 1st-July 15th, and team numbers
- Elimination of Representative hockey for U9 and what U8 and U9 programming will look like for the upcoming season
- Tournaments hosted in Ennismore for 2022/2023 season
-Ice time allotment and Ice allocation
– Rep teams will have undesirable times i.e. 7am, practices in Lakefield, Omemee etc.
There is not enough ice and we are doing everything we can to keep as many kids playing while trying to maintain a competitive program.
AGM will follow the Townhall and will start at approximately 7pm
