Rowan's Law Acknowledgement Form
Submitted By EMHA on Friday, October 30, 2020
Attention Parents, Players, and Team Officials:
Please review the information about Rowan's Law and complete the online Rowan's Law Acknowledgement Form.
In response to the death of Rowan Stringer, a 17 year old rugby player, who died of a concussion, the Ontario Government has legislated Rowan's Law.
Ennismore Minor Hockey Association will abide by the requirements of this law, as outlined by the Government of Ontario, and as implemented by the Ontario Hockey Federation, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport. All EMHA executives, bench staff, volunteers, parents and players will be expected to comply with the regulations for the 2020/2021 hockey season. The expectation is to be aware of the signs of concussions and to establish a return to play policy.
The OHF Concussion Code of Conduct and the appropriate Concussion Awareness Resources must be reviewed before you can register/participate in the OHF.
