IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION - ACTION REQUIRED BY ALL MEMBERS

We are a matter of weeks away from starting our 2020-2021 season.  The executive has been working hard with our township and the OMHA to provide hockey in the safest way possible for our children. We are still confirming with the township regarding their Health and Safety policies, (i.e. how many parents will be allowed into the facility).

All updates will be posted to our website.  For those who are asking if hockey will be different the answer to that is yes, hockey will be drastically different for the kids to start the season.  We have designed a program that’s primary focus is safety while ensuring development, exercise, affordability and preparation as our cornerstones.

Some things to expect are;
-          You will have to reregister your child for the 2020-2021 season;
-          Our season will start on October 3rd;
-          Our season will be divided up into two parts – October until end of December and January on;
-          Divisions will be tiered.  The intention will be for the kids to be on the ice with the same group of kids for the majority of the season.  This will be based on the level at which they played last year with consultation from coaches.
-          2-3 hours per week of ice time all in Ennismore;
-          If your family does not want to register for initial programming, the option will be available to register later into the season

Before we get to registration we ask that if you are hesitant to register for October programming but intend to register at a later date or if you plan to forgo the upcoming season please notify our Registrar Lindsey Richie at [email protected] so she can make a note of your families’ intentions.  This will help us with deciding on groupings.

Registration

We have done everything we can to make the 2020-2021 season as affordable for families as possible.  With so many unknowns we have decided to set up registration into two sections.  The first being October-December and the second being January until the end of the season.  As mentioned above, if a family doesn’t want to register in October but wishes to in November then a prorated fee will be charged.  If the season is cut short or temporarily shut down at any given point then we will arrange refunds for time not used.

In order to set up our programming this way we have had to unregister all players from Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) and EVERYONE WILL HAVE TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD again.

YOU WILL HAVE TO REGISTER BY***** SEPTEMBER 20TH****** TO GUARANTEE A SPOT IN OCTOBER PROGRAMMING.

For those who have already paid some or all of 2020-2021 registration then the cost for programming will simply be deducted from that.

October – December

U7 (IP), U8 (Minor Novice), U9 (Novice), U11 (Atom), U13 (Peewee), U15 (Bantam)

$396
**Register by September 20th**

U5 (Rookie) U18 (Midget) U21 (Juvenile)

January programming will be brought to the membership in November or early December.  There will be a lot more information coming in over the next few weeks and we ask that everyone please check our website regularly and familiarize yourself with the tools, aids and documents that have been posted on it.

Again, if you wish to guarantee your spot for October please re-register prior to Sept 20, 2020.  If anyone has any questions or concerns please reach out to a member of the Executive.

See you at the rink,
