Rowan's Law Information
Submitted By Chris Cavanagh on Sunday, September 15, 2019
In response to the death of Rowan Stringer, a 17 year old rugby player, who died of a concussion, the Ontario Government has legislated Rowan's Law.

Ennismore Minor Hockey Association will abide by the requirements of this law, as outlined by the Government of Ontario, and as implemented by the Ontario Hockey Federation, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport.

All EMHA executive, bench staff, volunteers, parents and players will be expected to comply with the regulations for the 2019/2020 hockey season.  The expectation is to be aware of the signs of concussions and to establish a return to play policy.

Bench staff/managers will be distributing the Rowan's Form Acknowledgement Form to all members to be read, signed and returned.
