Connor Windows Ennismore Eagles Novice Rep Setting a Great Example!
Submitted By C. Weisberg on Monday, February 4, 2019
We want to tell you about a team full of heart, determination, and hard work.  A team that does not know the word “Quit”.  This team is your Connor Windows Ennismore Eagles Novice Rep team!  It’s not hard to go online and check out their STATS and see that they haven’t been on the winning side of most of their games this season.  What is hard to see though, is how this team of 8 year old boys have been quietly setting an example that all teams should take note of!

This team has never given up! They have dug deep and pushed through ALL of their games! Most importantly, they have done it all, win or lose, as a team! The only thing that you will ever hear coming off the bench from this team are words of encouragement for their teammates “keep going, great shift, we got this” and when it doesn’t end in there favour it is “we will get them next time, great try guys!” They have nothing but the upmost respect for each other.  They show up to practice ready to put in the hard work, wanting to improve, knowing it won’t just come over night.  That is a true testament to their dedication and great attitudes.  It is hard to keep getting up and moving forward when you keep getting knocked down, but this team refuses to stay down, they refuse to give up and they refuse to give up on each other! They show true sportsmanship on and off the ice towards their opponents and their own teammates!

Playdowns are off to a great start for the Novice Reps!!  They have upset 2 of the top teams so far with a 3-3 tie against the Lindsay Muskies and an amazing 5-3 win against the Napanee Stars!! They deserve every ounce of success that is yet to come their way!

Please come out and support your Ennismore Eagles Novice Rep team as they continue to fight through their remaining playdown games!  Win or lose these boys are representing EMHA with pride!

Congratulations to Jaxxon Charmley, Lincoln Weisberg, Mitchell Brzezicki, Tyson Murray, Cole Tucker, Doug Richie, Mac Fuderer, Matthew Hope, Brady Cremers, Gavin Cremers, Ryerson Burdick, Cohan Bell, and Keegan Ahee !! We are so proud of all of you!!
